3. Look for resources

This phase includes a series of initiatives aiming the achievement of resources to realize the idea generated in the previous steps. Some of these resources are skills that the San Youth need to have to implement the projects, which are provided through training (like in !Khwa ttu and in the Radio projects). Sometimes they refer to planning activities with the right stakeholder (ME++).

3.1. Planning:

BMC SIMPLIFIED

The Business Model Canvas is a visual chart describing a firm’s set of elements divided in 7 main aspects of it.

RESOURCE BLUEPRINT

It consists in a simplified version of the service blueprint tool. It is a graphical technique that helps to think about and display the relevant actions of a service user and resources needed.

SINGLE ORGANIZATION STAKEHOLDERS

The aim of this tool is to empower stakeholders to agree on common issues within the organization and the relationship between the relevant stakeholders.

MAPPING

It is a map divided in 5 main part: when, who, where, how and what. It’s a visualizing tool, useful to better understand the phases of a specific service.

CREATE A POSTER

The representation of an idea in a single image, in order to train in visualizing and representing ideas.

STORYBOARD

It consists in an exercise on the representation and visualization of 4 images of a narrative sequence.

PRESENTATION TOOL

It consists in an exercise on the representation and visualization of 4 images of a narrative sequence.

TEAM BUILDING

It is a simple game or a playful activity, where the participants have to collaborate in order to achieve a common goal.

PROTO ACTING

This tool is used to learn how to test ideas as they would be implemented in reality, and to examine and potentially re-design and define all the details.
