

BMC SIMPLIFIED

Why using it?
Among the many Business Model Canvas applications there is the possibility to use it in order to set a very clear foundation for the directions given to ideas and projects. Moreover to understand possible paths, competitors, clients and strategies.
What is it?
The Business Model Canvas is a visual chart describing a firm’s set of elements divided in: key activities, key resources, key partners, value proposition, customer segment, channels.
Steps
• Print enough copies of the simplified BMC (if preferred it is also possible to look on-line for a standard version template).
• Explain to participants the different elements of the BMC and their importance.
• Distribute the sheets with ready-to-fill templates, and give participants enough time to meaningfully engage with all the sections.

Tips for the facilitator:
Help the participants to understand the differences between the key elements.

Materials needed:
Paper, pens, pencils, post it.

Time:
4 hours.
