2. BUILDING A COMMON VISION

From the individual perspective we scale to the community one of the ME+. The actions aim to start the participation of a group of individuals in the process, working on a community feeling. Here the most generative workshops. Some of the activities could be also played at a ME++ level (the San Youth and the Youth of the World, the San Youth and other communities).

2.1. Community Mapping:

It consists in a role play game where participants are asked to imagine their future and share their visions, to better do so they are asked to dress accordingly.

SOCIAL SCULPTURE

Social sculpture is an artistic method to explore ideas and communicate with the surrounding community through the creation of posters.

DRAMA, ACTING, DANCING

In order to encourage participants to use their creative talent for self-expression, they are asked to perform their challenges through drama, acting or dancing.

COMMUNITY ON A MAP

It consists in a collective work in which participants are asked to recognize and sign places and hubs particularly relevant for the community.

DEVELOPMENT SPECTRUM

It is used in order to critically reflect and map their activities in relation to a developmental goal. The process allows for a deeper engagement with internal and external goals.

2.2. Idea generation:

4 QUADRANTS

It consists on a brainstorming - through writing and drawing - on the desirable future development of the following topics: people, places, services and things.

INSIGHT GENERATION

In order to start to understand problems and generate opportunities, participants use this paper tool, useful to collect findings from the context and then interpret them into insights.

STRUCTURED BRAINSTORMING

It consists in an exercise on brainstorming session, guided by a predefined template which helps investigating the who, the why, the what, the how and a summary of the project.

MUSICAL CHAIRS

Musical chairs is a simple game, during which everybody can built upon each other ideas.
