MUSICAL CHAIRS
Why using it?
Organize a musical chairs session in order to create a dynamic moment of idea generation.
What is it?
Musical chairs is a simple game, during which everybody can built upon each other ideas.
Steps
• Place the chairs (you need as many chairs as the number of participants minus one) in a circle.
• When the music is on, the participants have to dance and walk around the chairs.
• As soon as the music stops, the participants have to try to sit down on a chair.
• The left out participant had to speak in front of everybody and express himself/herself about a specific topic.
• Every speech should be connected and built upon the previous one.
Tips for the facilitator:
Help participants to keep the focus and the connection between the speech.
Materials needed:
Music (laptop or stereo), many chairs (minus one, according to the number of participants).
Time:
1 hour.
